Bond Loan

A Bond Loan is an interest free loan for people who cannot afford to pay a full rental bond to move into private rental accommodation.
Information for lessors/agents or service providers/managers
A Bond Loan is an interest-free loan provided to eligible applicants to help them access the private rental market. A Bond Loan does not include the initial two weeks rent in advance and only relates to the money forwarded to the Residential Tenancies Authority.

Information is available to help you buy or build a better, safer and more comfortable home. There are also a variety of financial assistance products and maintenance and modification services that cater for home owners.
Home loans
Housing and Homelessness Services offers a range of targeted loan schemes, including:
- the Pathways Shared Equity Loan to assist eligible public housing tenants to purchase a share in the property they are currently renting
- the Queensland Housing Finance Loan to assist people earning low to moderate incomes to buy or build a house
- the Queensland State Housing Loan to assist eligible public housing tenants and other people to buy a Department of Housing rental property
- the Queensland Home Adapt Loan to assist home owners with a disability, or those who have a household member with a disability, to modify their home.
Rental Purchase Plan
Information available to existing Rental Purchase Plan borrowers.
Rental Grants
A Rental Grant is a once-only grant of two weeks rent to help meet some of the costs associated with moving into private rental accommodation. The grant does not have to be repaid, and it helps people experiencing a housing crisis.
