Community Housing
The Department of Communities (Housing and Homelessness Services), through its Community Housing business area, works in partnership with not-for-profit organisations and local governments to provide community-based solutions to local housing need.
Homelessness Programs
The Department of Communities (Housing and Homelessness Services), through its Homelessness Programs business area, provides funding to non-profit community services agencies for delivery of supported accommodation and related support services for homeless people and those at risk of homelessness.
Remote Indigenous Housing and Homelessness Programs
The Department of Communities (Housing and Homelessness Services), through its Remote Indigenous Housing and Homelessness Programs, provides funding and support to 16 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander councils encompassing 34 discrete Indigenous communities, to meet housing need.
Community Renewal
The Community Renewal program was established in December 1998 to improve the quality of life of selected Queensland communities.
