Community and Public Housing
Community and Public Housing works in partnership with not-for-profit organisations and local governments to provide community-based solutions to local housing need and the strategic policy and performance framework for planning, delivering and managing the public housing rental program.
This service area was created in October 2006 after the Public Housing and Community Housing service areas merged. Bringing these areas together has enabled a greater focus on the continuum of assistance the department provides to clients and ensures that the products and services offered are linked and coordinated.
